I have put my playing of Destroy All Humans! 2 on hold and enjoyed their built in 'juke box'...the game music is suprisingly...awesome.

About my favorite would be the 'hunted' music in Albion....it's very epic and when you're leveling a city with tanks and SAM rockets following your perfectly rounded craft, it just gives all the more joy in doing so.

I also discovered...I hate escort missions...

especially when the escorts themselves FAIL at simple defense. Even in dead rising the escorts can atleast PUSH the zombies down and usually require minimum help in small groups of zombies.


plus I've liked all the voicing on the game up until I met Dr. Go...he single handely has one of the most annoying voices and whines when you stray too far.

but I shall leave this for my mid game review which will be completed short after this is posted.



I will be getting my laptop this weekend..or else I think I shall cry in the mere fact that I have work so hard for the damn thing to get it this ...yes you read me right...THIS FREAKING PAYCHECK and not get it. I will cry and give sad eyes to everyone I can find.

also I want to find an open wifi net and use it.
or I'll just be a sensible person and have the internet brought up to my room in which I can enjoy blogging in the dead of night.
and lurking about deviantart and enjoy vista..well enjoy it on 3 gigs of ram and a 250 hard drive. eat that.


It should run on 3 gigs, if it doesn't...I think I shall go and kill the idiot that made vista suck up as much ram as it does.

Well the lack of the fact that I haven't done any HARDCORE shopping lately?
yes indeed there seems to be a decent topic to spew words about.



Well due to the frigging gas prices topping 4 dollars in certain stations and the fact that DuBois is made of suck and fail there seems to be a sever lack of good stores to visit. I visit the same almost in a machine like path on the days that I grace the mall with my large city upbringing and actual sense of humour. and yes I'm spelling humour the british way, don't like it? suck it.

Anyways...it's comic shop and bs with them about movies and comics and rant on about the lack of common sense these days and sprinkle in a few conversations about my boyfriend, Magic: The Gathering and Warmachine....that's usually about an hours worth of stuff there as one of the clerks seems to have the ability to keep me there for an hour, buying things and hits on me every other sentence...Bill seems to ignore this as it some sort of comic shop ritual to hit on regular females or regulars who bring their girlfriends in that seem to be girly to shop in a comic shop.
bullshit. I shop where I want damn it.
Then I usually truck off to Gamestop and I'm there digging through the Xbox bin looking for decent games and getting odd looks from some of the locals who've seen me grace this shop for nearly 8 years, they still seem to be in shock. At least some of the employees have gotten over the fact that I shop there without a boyfriend in tow and actually have an opinion on this backwater town run on acid and retards.
The manager is good natured and does his best to keep an eye out for the games that I seek, namely Destroy All Humans and Psychonauts...I have Psychonauts for the PS2, but as the PS2 is my boyfriends and not mine...it makes it hard to keep up with the game, especially if I'm playing and he's cuddling me while I'm in the middle of a fight with the NPCs, psychic bears or just in general beating the crap out of near by objects.
It makes this difficult...the one clerk seems to ignore me over the male customers and even though I was in line waiting very patiently for my turn...bastard.

The other employees seem to handle me as a regular customer...which is nice.

After I spend endless time as it seems digging through the crap hole of crappy sports games and even crappier spin offs of games and movies I venture on to Claire's for earrings and other dangling things that I can adorn myself with, but to find that usually the earrings are made of fail or they aren't on sale and the bitchy assistant manager is on duty and glares at me the whole time.

Then it's off to FYE to look for music that doesn't suck or back albums that people have never even heard of.....I trod the anime section for an interesting anime other than Ghost In The Shell and Case Closed....so far my search has been futile up until a few weeks ago, when I came across the box set of Witch Hunter Robin, which the series ended...rather...well empty.(I'll be reviewing this on a later note, probably tonight) And also can't forget Burst Angel which I've yet to see, but boyfriend promises it's great.



After trudging through same sounding music and candy anime I make way for the book store, only to take a quick stop at JC Penny's to see if my dear high school friend Jeremy is lurking around the service counter making comments.
My past few attempts have turned up nothing. I think he's hiding in the deep underground lair of JC Penny's where they hide the good stuff..after a quick bathroom break while I'm back there(JC Penny's has the best bathroom in the whole mall, no joke) I seem to get lured into the new shoe store only to find high priced shoes that will not fit my large feet and not make me look older than hell it's self or a nurse that's older than hell it's self. I leave in disgust as the GOOD rocketdog shoes are either too small or they don't carry the style or colors I like. boo to them.
I find myself mysteriously in DEB where i used to obsessively shop before I found that their styles had gone from good to ugly as hell and their color schemes changed in their clothing drastically enough that I shudder when I walk in and that's the shudder after I've stepped on pink glittery floor tiles...the whole store is too pink and it makes me want to roll in black paint the second I step in there, but somehow, the shoes in the back..magically transport me to the mouth of the store. I usually leave after seeing a lot of the same bullshit.

I seem to be able to withstand the draw of Fail21, which used to have decent clothing, I make my way to the opposite store, knowing as word heaven where I go look for a good funny book, some new mysteries to get into and maybe a few horror books to keep me awake. I also keep an eye on the Tom Clancy section for anything that may pique my interest, so far the splinter cell series has only managed to do that and before you asswipes point out that splinter cell isn't actually written BY Tom Clancy he only starts with a meager story line and his under writers fill it out to fatten up their portfolios.


After going through that and searching for a decent deep manga instead of the crap that Tokyo press seems to spewing... I find myself sniffing many different things, searching for an over price perfume that doesn't make me want to rip my head off so it'll stop hurting and end up spending cash on another bottle of perfume...I have so much perfume right now it takes up a whole section of my dresser and part of my bedside table.


usually I go to relax for a moment in big lots on their couches and then grow bored of the mall...I either walk to old navy then quickly walk out as I realized this place is a crap hole filled with crap. even their jeans suck now.

With that I either make my way to walmart to go flirt with boyfriend or head up to kmart to bs with Nick.


And that is my town.

Anyways, saw narnia...I reviewed it in judgment day...



bought mom a fragrance thing...and because it's an oil defuser she made a fit about a mess due to the fact that our outlets are upside down..well it seems to be working fine to me in my room...and she initially told me to take it back...I'm tempted to return it, but dad likes the smell of pears alot so I'll install it with out her knowledge and just let her stew in her own argumentive juices.


Still enjoying Destroy All Humans 2, looking for the first one, along with the link thats up there.

I found the first one...I think I might order it tonight, but on the other hand there's a new VG store opening in DuBois...

so I guess I'll wait for a while.

birthday

Celebrated my dad's birthday today, took him and mom out to lunch at this really great mexican place.

I'm lucky and only have to work a 4 hour shift tonight instead of 6 or an 8 or worse a 10. ew..10 hour overnight shift.


so this night should be border line impossible to get any amount of work done. whatsoever.



other than than? well I dunno...I'm going to probably play my xbox for a while...then enjoy some sleep before work

well another work day flew past with a few angry moments and one of them I ended up kicking a coworker for.


I'm still slightly miffed, but Marlene said nothing further about the topic in question.

So moving on from work, I spent around 83 dollars on stuff today, in k-mart. alone.

I bought two new pairs of jeans, to replace a torn pair(which is becoming a purse and maybe I'll craft with the extras) and a pair I hate(donation time!). The one pair is a replica of the torn pair and a black pair that fits rather nicely. I love boot cut jeans.


bought new bras! woo! the right size this time as well, not cup size, but band size. :/ 38B is hard to find, damnit.
one is bright yellow with a winking smily face on the back band and the other is a soft gray...so comfy :)


new underwear, standard black and white solid and a paisley degisn in black and white...


a tanktop/bra combo, in sky blue, I have an idea for an outfit, but I'm not sure how it's going to work...oh well I'll play with it tonight and part of tomorrow.

and I have a new tan shirt that's lightweight and comfy.

yes I'm getting prepped for living in the south again...

Personal Life

so aside from my reviewing blog and my 'happy' blog....I have my own personal life...but some people don't think that I do...some people like my work, think I exist to do nothing but work.


however...I do have a personal life...and a devart life...I dunno if they are the same or different any more.


Oh well.

So I've been awake for nearly 3 hours now, I got home this morning at 6:30 am, had my guilty pleasure of early morning cartoons til I fell asleep. Grabbed a shower when I woke up and pretty much just walked around the house til I got bored of the out of order, dis-organized house that I live in now. Mum's gone into overdrive on the remodeling thing now and now there's really no kitchen table just the table slid against the bar counter and a large..thing.. I cannot for the life of me remember what it's called but mum is going to stand on it and paint the ceiling...and NO IT'S NOT A LADDER.

Also I've got the idea to start playing 9 Dragons again, but it needs to fucking update and every time I try to update the damn thing either, A. the power goes out or B. The internet says fuck you and closes my connection.

So I've been trying for nearly...a week now to update it.

yes I'm getting to the point of where I'll try running it off IE if I have to (apparently it doesn't run with firefox for some damn reason. fuck you acclaim!)



So at this point I think I'm just going to end up playing it off of IE until it updates then I can just run it off my desktop like I used to. It's so frustrating T_T
